Jesus
Everything begins and ends with Jesus. (Revelation 22:13) Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born into this world through a virgin birth, fully God and fully man. He died on the cross to pay for the sin of man. God raised Him from the dead and He appeared alive to His followers before ascending into Heaven. There He reigns over all creation and is preparing a reward for those who trust in Him for their salvation and who live according to His will. One day He will return in power and glory to lead the living and the dead to judgment. Matthew 1:24-25; John 1:1; John 14:203; 2 Timothy 3:15 and Acts 10:42.
The Bible
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. It is our guide for living. We have no other manual. 2 Timothy 3:16.
Partnership
We do not have a formal membership. We believe that God places a person in the church, when they make a decision of faith to submit and surrender to Him. (Acts 2:47) A Christian is already a member of God's church. A person becomes a partner with the Rustic Hills family when they begin to participate with us in our fellowship, worship and ministry in the marketplace.
The Church
There is only one church in God’s sight and it is made up of all those that have chosen Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We are non-denominational fellowship that collaborates with a group of non-denominational churches known as the Church of God (Anderson). Affiliation gives accountability without control. 1 Corinthians 1:10-13.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and every believer receives His presence. Through His power believers are enabled to live a godly life. Luke 11:13; Galatians 5:22; Ephesians 1:13-14.
Holiness of the Believer
God’s Spirit enables us to live above daily continual sin. At the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord we are kept by His grace and we are empowered to sustain a continuing relationship with Him.
1 Corinthians 10:13; Hosea 6:6 and 1 John 1:9.
Spiritual Gifts
The Holy Spirit gives one or more spiritual gifts to each Christian. We believe every believer is a minister and is encouraged to find, in God’s timing, his or her place of service in the Body of Christ, the Church.
We are committed to:
The Great Commission: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20.
